The music-licensing sector has seen a steady flow of acquisitions in recent years, as companies raise funding and bulk up their offerings. The latest acquirer is Soundstripe, which has bought sync-tech startup The Rights for an undisclosed amount. Soundstripe said the deal will “accelerate” the upcoming launch of its ‘click-to-license’ platform, due in the first half of 2025.
