We know Soundstripe for its business licensing music to YouTubers and other online video creators. Now it is dipping its toes into the world of AI music again via a partnership with startup Daaci.
It has launched an ‘AI Song Editing’ tool that will enable its clients to create their own mixes and cuts of tracks from its catalogue – while staying within the terms of the licence to use that music. This is based on Daaci’s Natural Edits technology, and represents Soundstripe’s second AI partnership. The company previously signed a deal with startup Cyanite to use its AI tagging and metadata tech.
It’s a busy week for Daaci too: it announced a second deal yesterday, with virtual instruments and sample libraries firm Spitfire Audio. Samples from the latter will now be available within Daaci’s Natural Drums tool, which launched in February.
